Good Mail Day

Except for a bill or two, I had an amazing mail day today!

(Which was the opposite of the letdown yesterday when I realized that Columbus Day meant no mail.)

A few winnings and goodies started trickling in today, making it feel almost like my birthday!

First, I will be having delicious desserts, because Kelly at Brownies & Zucchini sent me the “Treat Yo’ Self” giveaway Stoneyfield Oikos Frozen Yogurt prize I won! I can’t wait to get to the store and pick up one of my free pints. Thanks so much, Kelly!

I also had two larger packages in the mail. One was from a giveaway win too! Sarah from Tunay Na Mahal posted a giveaway for soy tarts from Krazy Candle that I was lucky enough to win! And FYI, this has started an obsession. Soy tarts are like wickless candles, which you melt in a warmer for flameless fragrance. I LOVE that they’re soy and not artificial wax- spills are easier to clean up, and I’ve found with previous candles I’ve owned that they have a stronger smell throughout. Well, I got the tarts in the mail today. Holy moly.

Sarah included a sweet postcard from Philly, and even threw in an extra tart! The giveaway included Lilac Mist and Pumpkin Crunch Cake, but she included a Birthday Cake tart too. Be still my funfetti loving heart. I think B will especially like the Lilac Mist- believe it or not, he prefers more floral scents while I love spicier ones. And that leads to the Pumpkin Crunch Cake. It’s shrink wrapped, and I’m sure endured heat while in transit. Yet, it was perfectly intact, and smelled amazing. Even while being wrapped up, my whole office smells amazing just from having them in there. I want to eat them. Smelling them is still good though. Thanks so much for arranging this giveaway Sarah! And check out Krazy Candle… the prices are a ton better than the shops like Yankee, and there are so many options- with free shipping for $30 or more! I can’t wait to order some more!

There was another package waiting too- this was something I purchased. Nikki aka my girl crush blogger obsession told me about BaubleBar. With her referral I got $10 off, so I sprung for this necklace, which you saw in this post a few days ago. Well look what it came with:

I still have a few other things I’m waiting for in the mail… my next book club book (Gone Girl!) and some nail polish goodies, one from a friend and one from a swap. Let’s hope mister mailman continues to bestow his blessings upon me!
