Guest Post: Anne from Hell on Heels!

I am so excited to say that my blog crush, Anne from Hell on Heels is guest posting for me today!!! She and I have tons in common (hello, huge knockers and a nail polish obsession!) and she has been really motivating me with her fitness lately. Check out her post about athleticism and the Olympics (which I am jeal about… since no cable and crap antenna reception = no Olympics in my house. And they are my OBSESSION so you know that better change in the next four years!) Hopefully this will motivate me to keep some fitness goin’ on my vacay… haha, right. We’ll see.

Well hello there. Can we all just take a moment of silence & think about how much we miss our dear Kelly?

Ok, moments over.

I’m Anne from Hell on Heels & Kel has asked me to whip up a little guest post while she’s out enjoying a beautiful vacation somewhere.Meanwhile we’re all sitting at our desks in front of a computer screen View Postreading a blog. That biotch.

Over the past few weeks I’ve been reflecting about why my athleticism seems to have failed me.

I mean, why am I not an Olympian?

Who cares if I can only run like 2 miles. I can sweat like a hog with the best of ’em.

I mean c’mon. Who’s sweating more?

These girls & their abs of steel, or me?

They’re barely lugging around anything. Me on the other hand. I’m lugging around a damn suitcase when you factor in my huge knockers.

And who the hell does Michael Phelps think he is? Some badass because he earned like 800 olympic medals?

I can do that in my sleep.

And this.

In fact, they asked me to be a part of the fab five….but I had to decline as I didn’t want to put the other four to shame.

Ok, but seriously.

Does anyone else believe that Olympic athletes must be aliens?

I mean, how the hell do their bodies bend that way?

Much to my husbands dismay, I’ve been practicing in my living room the past few weeks & have yet to be successful in landing a triple backflip off my couch.

In all seriousness though, as amazing as these athletes are, my favorite part about the Olympics is that it makes me uber proud to be an American.

We are one FIT country ya ‘all!

In closing, i’m not going to try and lure you over to my blog by offering to give you some free stuff.
If you like my style, great. Hop on over to Hell on Heels to follow along and read more.

If you’re not diggin what I’m throwin’ down, no harm no foul. You can’t win ’em all.

Have a great day to my fellow Kelly fans out there–thanks for letting me stop by!

And Kelly….pleeeease hurry home soon!

Thanks Anne!! Maybe this will inspire some fitness and athleticism while I’m in NJ. If anything… I’m proud to be American!!!! I’ll be back posting on Monday but have a few guest posts to entertain you this week- enjoy, everyone!

Yup – total aliens! I was screaming all kinds of “GOD DANG HOW’D THEY/HE/SHE DO THAT???” last night and so I believe you must be right. Not human!

  • I’m with you, these Olympians & their bodies are INSANE! Love watching the Olympics, every two years you can find me chanting ‘U-S-A-U-S-A!’ from my couch, or the bar, bar chants are fun too.
