A picture is worth a thousand words

…so if that’s the case, then this post will be worth more than 7,000.

I figure the easiest way to jump back in is with pictures of what you’ve missed.

There’s been a lot of pug action. Tons of pug time here people.

I made some KILLER pizza before Big Daddy left town for a long weekend. Bacon, red onion, goat cheese crumbles, pesto, and an herb and garlic crust. That bacon is from some crazy German butcher market place and barely produces any grease when frying. Although WW? Going notsogood. Up .8 last Wednesday, not tracking very well.

B left for a bachelor party in Nashville on Thursday. Which meant… I could park anywhere in the garage that I wanted!

It’s the little things, people.

On Friday, I went to bed at 9:00pm. So I took the pugs out at 8:45. They woke me up at 4:50am. Touché.

I worked most of the weekend (a cool 15 hours) but did get some “fun” in…

Cue the sound of my heart shattering into a million little pug-licked pieces.

That’s little miss Muffin, the TINY nine month old pug that I transported Saturday. I was one-third of her trip to her new home. Her foster home was in Kentucky. I drove down to Columbus, Indiana to pick her up. My friends Sarah and Laura finished the trip. She was adorable but so timid. Even the changing of songs on the radio made her scared. I drove with one hand, and pet her with the other. The entire time. ((((broken heart bits))))

I got in pug time with my crew too, of course.

B got back on Sunday. We caught up and tried to go to bed at a reasonable hour. The storms started at 5:00am this morning and didn’t let up until midday. I had to move my car to the South Lot at work… and I work in the North Building, if that tells you anything. Not everyone was so lucky…

That’s a submerged Lexus. And a picnic table. PS it wasn’t parked like this- the car owner tried to drive, thus the submersion. I thought you needed intelligence to make the money to afford a Lexus?

More storms are predicted. I’m over the Midwest’s version of late spring/early summer.

So there’s the basics. Wine Festival and Wedding recaps are to come. When I find the energy.
