Well, I paid for the last crazy week…
Week: +.8
Total: -42.2
Up less than a pound, not horrible. I definitely was a little more “loose” with my eating this past weekend at the wedding, but felt my dancing (and walking around Disney when we got back!) had counter-acted it. Buttttt I didn’t think about all the DRINKING that happens around a wedding. So I think my body is still recovering a bit – I’m still not feeling 100% – but I am back on track and eating “real” food again. And no drinking. I don’t need the empty calories!
I am also back to C25K after a day or two longer break than usual between “weeks.” I have also decided to re-do week 3. I feel like I got punched in the throat by the end of the 3 minute run. I think I could do better with week 4 if I come further along with week 3. Well, I hope. I still feel a weird mix of empowered and absolutely foolish when I’m out there running.
Since this is the most boring recap ever (I’m boring this week!) I have a few things to add that I didn’t share from the wedding! My makeup/jewelry look.
I ended up doing my nails pretty tame… essie Case Study with Sally Hansen Antiqued Gold crackle. I am LOVING the tone-on-tone glossy and glitter lately… I did blue nails with a blue glitter accent for my friend Lydia too. It’s more fun than a plain color, but it’s not as crazy as a glitter or crackle that contrasts with the base color.
For the wedding, I wore some gold eye shadow from my Urban Decay Naked palette, with a bit of black eyeliner. I wanted to go with a bold lip as the focus. I used one of my Lipsticktember favorites, Sephora Lip Attitude Glamour Charming Violet 12. I just love that lipstick.
B calls this my fake smile. Usually I look more goofy in pictures but this was a moment of calm before the storm.
You can also sort of see my gorgeous BaubleBar necklace. You can see it better in this picture of me and Amber. I wore some earrings from Lord & Taylor (old) and a Lia Sophie bracelet as well (not pictured.) VoilĂ ! Easy and I owned most of it already – wedding look complete.
It was the perfect jewelry to go with a simple black dress, and I know I’ll have lots to wear the necklace with again. Remember if you want to sign up for BaubleBar and get $10 off your first order, visit the site and use my invitation code, 11576257. You won’t regret it! Amber got a great necklace this week too from them, and now I’m planning my next (colorful) purchase.
It’s 8pm here and I’ve already taken a Tylenol PM to try to kick this weird cold that’s lingered for a week or two, on and off. Bedtime! Hope to have better news to report next week.

You really DO have the coolest necklaces!
