New Nail Faves!

I’ve had about two weeks of three wonderful nail colors!

After my last Nail Files post, I did do the Julep manicure in Annie. And was immediately smitten. I said at that point that it was my favorite nail polish that I owned, period. It is just the coolest color, I can’t describe it!!

This pic was right after I finished painting, even before the glossy Seche Vite clear coat. I was just obsessed with the color! Then I ruined them a few days later by doing a matte topcoat. Eh. I just don’t love matte! The only time I did really like it was on some very light blue/aqua colors. Oh well.

Because of last week’s Butter London sale, I decided to update with Fairy Lights. And holy cow, I was in love. It might tie the above for my favorite color now. They’re just so different!

It is a pink chrome, but very neutral-y and soooo silky. There were some brushstrokes while I painted, but it dried perfectly.

I wore this polish for my weekend getaway, and it wore really well, even being on the beach and jet skiing. The color was a bit more vibrant/pink in the sun:

Before I changed it up yesterday, I did have some chips, but due to the color being more neutral and shiny, it was VERY hard to notice them. The amount of wear I put on this polish, the few tiny chips I had were awesome- I doubt many polishes would last as well. And this is a great polish to wear for a while, since the chips aren’t as noticable.

My mom also gave me two polishes while we were on vacay because she wasn’t going to use them! Essie FTW!

I was sad to change my Butter London polish but I needed a new pedi too, so it was time yesterday. I decided to go for a ketchup and mustard look!

For my toes I went with e.l.f. Medium Red:

Yes, I’m rocking the nine year old sorority flip flops this AM.

And my nails… I had to go with another Julep from this month’s box! My other polish was Alma, a mustardy yellow.

I couldn’t be more in love! It’s another almost-neutral, but has a little pop/wow factor because it’s yellow. I think it’s a good transition into trying some fall colors. I have been so excited to do darker fall colors, but the lack of fall weather makes it hard!

I’m also really jazzed about Julep for October. I have been more and more thrilled with each box! I’m going with the It Girl box this month. I don’t love crackle but I do enjoy it when it’s a metallic color. I think the silver crackle would look awesome over a lavender polish! And the other two are so bewitching! I thought about adding on Eloise but ended up adding Sofia, the glow in the dark polish!

Julep members- you can make changes still through the 24th! (20th – 24th of each month.) Also I noticed that they added a 6th box this month, Maven’s Choice, with only cremes since some people are very anti-crackle. So cool that they listened to maven comments! Which box did you mavens pick?

Remember that you can sign up and get your first Julep maven box for only one penny! (It’s usually $19.99.) Use my link: HTTP://JULEP.COM/?R=22278607 and use code MAVENINTRO for your first month to be a penny. You’ll get me a referral credit, but you’ll also get yourself my absolute favorite nail polish program! You can select your box each month- so you know what’s coming – and if you aren’t into that month you can ship it to a friend, or even skip it without penalty. If you have any questions, email/tweet/comment and I’ll answer all your questions!

I think for sure the above polishes will really kick off my fall manicures! Hopefully the weather will match too by then!

As always, I’m linking up with the fabulous Vicki and Tara for The Nail Files!

Come link up and discover some great manicure colors and ideas!
