Happy Tuesday that feels like a Monday, for most office workers anyway! I’ve been there working holidays back in retail/cupcake land, and hubby worked yesterday- it stinks. But for me, it’s Montuesday.
I spent yesterday re-arranging my office. I plan to put our treadmill in here, since it’s in our dining type area now and such an eyesore. The pugs were very much used to their corner nook, and Sophie protested for a little while.
So you may have noticed that it is September, which for me usually means Lipsticktember!!! I will only sort of doing it this year. Working from home means that I typically look like:
Grossss. But that’s my normal. I hate the thought of wasting makeup and nice clothes on no one but myself. I can work just find without it and have no one to impress attempt not to offend with my face. So wearing lipstick daily would be wasteful and pretty much pointless.
However, I plan to wear lipstick each time I go out this month- not like groceries trips, just times that I shower and put on makeup. Which was 0 times this weekend. What’s up in September for me? Hopefully, more weight loss. I have just over five weeks to lose enough to fit into a dress I just got from Holly of Bijou Lovely. We are headed to a wedding in Indianapolis (VERY short trip) on October 13, so I am planning to start C25K if I can get a sports bra this week. I am going to stop buying beer for home (only drinking it if out, and in moderation) and will try to limit carbs and have fresh fruits/veggies in all meals. Sometimes I lean on processed foods too much, and I know fresh foods really help me.
Also exciting for this month, I am headed to Hilton Head in a week and a half for a few days with my sister and mom. It’ll just be a quick weekend trip but I am really excited to get to DRIVE to see them.

Happy MonTuesday to you too! I’m rockin’ the same work from home look as you and it’s one thing I’m still adjusting to because I loooove me some makeup in the morning. Have to figure out if I wanna keep up with at least mascara or not! xo

That is totally how I feel about mascara, it is expensive, a bitch to take off, and I cannot buy my favorite kind here so I only wear it for special outings!
