Harry the Pug

After I arrived in South Carolina, my Mom, sister, and I went to dinner at the restaurant where my sister works. She needed a few things for breakfast, so after we went to Harris Teeter. I haven’t been to one since I was in college!

My mom took a picture or two of us in the parking lot. We embrace awkward in my family.

Right when we walked in, I saw him. Harry the pug.

I immediately named him Harry after the store, Harris Teeter. I embraced him and was elated.

Yes, he is a pug balloon. He has little feet and a leash and could walk. I walked him through the aisles while my mom and sister pretended not to know me. Someone told me she thought he was real. My mom did video about five seconds of my walk:

The burp is my sister, FYI.

Eventually, I gave him kisses and a hug.

It was time to say goodbye… because he was $13. Anything $8 or less I would have bought him but $13 was too rich for my blood.

But if anyone sees a pug balloon at a place I could find it in Orlando… let me know. My pugs need to meet a Harry!

(More on my quick weekend vacation soon!)
