Just a little public service announcement to tell my buddies about today (Monday, September 10th)… Ulta is having a one day sale on Butter London nail polish. Normally $14, they are buy one get one FREE!!!! After tax mine was $14.92 for two- making them $7.46 each after tax… that’s better than Essie pricing! (Although I rarely buy Essie without at least a 20% off coupon at CVS, which is $6.40 pre tax. Just sayinnnn’!)
I took an EARLY lunch and waited outside until my Ulta opened at 10am. I was in line with four other people- but all of them were really nice, thankfully!
The reason this is such a great deal? You can’t really use coupons on Butter London (that I know of at least.) Ulta considers them a “Prestige” item and you cannot use your coupons for them. However, if you earn $$ off from your points, you can use that on Butter- but you have to spend $$ to get the points, so it’s counter-productive in a way.
I have been waiting ages to get my favorite Butter London color, British Racing Green- since I’m OBSESSED with Mini Coopers, especially in this color! I brought my swatch sheets with me and compared them to avoid getting a dupe for my second color. I finally decided on Fairy Lights, a shimmery metallic pink.
I couldn’t be happier with my purchase, and wanted to tell you all so you can run over there on your lunch break or after work! GO! Enjoy! Then tell me what you got! I plan to wear one of these later this week, probably Fairy Lights because the green is a little too “fall” for the 86 degree weather we’re having. Plus humidity. Whatever.

They have two near there… Market Street Flowood and The Forum at Grandview (Madison) – I hope those are close!!!!
Gawd I wish pay day was today!! haha I may still have to swing by after work to see what’s left ;) Last time I bought BL, Ulta would not let me use any of their coupons so this is a huge deal!!
Can’t wait, I’m going in an hour! Woot woot! I hope they still have the colors Tart with a Heart and Trout Pout. But, I’m a spaz and have a list of my other top choices as well. Haha.
ugh, how i wish we had an ulta around here. i love butter from pictures and am itching to try it. can’t wait to see more of them :D

I am so glad you were able to pick up Racing Green!!! I admit I had it in my cart online when I was picking mine out! It’s so pretty-it may have to go on the list for next year’s BOGO!
