Happy weigh-in day! It’s been a while since my last weigh-in due to my work travel last week and a scale battery shortage in our house.

It’s been a hot one out there for everyone today, it seems. I started out my morning in the mid-70′s, and it got up around 90 this afternoon. I hear it’s even worse in many other parts of the country! Despite the heat, I still took the puggies for their daily walk. While short, they love it and I enjoy getting out of the house.
I’m still waiting for the loaner Zumba dvd that I’ve been expecting to arrive in the mail, but I did 45 minutes of walking on the treadmill today around 3mph on an incline. It feels good to be more active and “earn” my food. And while I have no desire to do anything more than a short 10 minute walk in the great outdoors right now, I am looking forward to a more active lifestyle.

P.S. I don’t know how you feel about thin crust pizzas, but to make quick pizzas at home I use a tortilla.
Oh that’s a great idea in a pinch!!! I am actually hoping to make my own and put a lot of yummy herbs in it, like the Trader Joe’s kind that I don’t have now because it’s like, two hours away! Cry cry cry.
