Instagram 365 – Week 22

Another (unfortunately, sort of boring) week in Orlando. B got screwed by his old job (wasn’t able to get his vacation days paid out) so he was unpaid for a week, and now he is slowly training for the new position, so we are short on cash. Obviously moving killed a ton of that moola too. So until we’re both paid again in about two weeks, we’re strapped for cash. Which means we can’t go out and do fun things. Thus, most of my pictures this week are pugs.

5/27/12: The girls snuggling up to their Daddy!

5/28/12: Muscovy ducks hanging out on our lawn after it rained. AKA, the weirdest looking turkey-faced ducks I have ever seen.

5/29/12: Sophie’s reaction to B going to the store.

5/30/12: I title this photo of the Bugg “Shhh, don’t say a word.” Check out my post on my manicure here.

5/31/12: Just two gals, relaxing with our feet up, watching Burn Notice (seriously, we’re obsessed.)

6/1/12: My coworkers, hard at work. They had a much better workday than I did, unfortunately.

6/2/12: The Mormon temple near our house. Yesterday we felt the desperate need to get out of the house, but without the funds, very few things were available to us besides a drive. So that’s what we did, and I had to take a photo of this GORGEOUS building.

One thing that’s been awesome during our time here thus far has been our cable-less TV viewing. We bought a Roku, which allows for viewing of Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Instant Video, and other streaming video/music that you can sign up for. It’s like using your xbox or Wii to stream (which we have done before) but it’s much easier. Some of the devices can stream in HD, you get a remote that is much less annoying that the xbox one, and much easier to use. Roku devices start at $49.99, and that’s all you pay ever except for your subscriptions. We’ve watched the first two seasons of Burn Notice (LOVE) and countless other shows. I also love that you can play Pandora radio on there too. It’s a great gift for the person in your life who doesn’t have cable.

Hope everyone has a great first week of June!
