I have been VERY excited to do this post! One of my favorite people, Claire, tagged me (check her 7 links out here) and I couldn’t wait to look at my blog to write this post.
Basically there are 7 categories and you pick one link (aka, one post of yours) that fits the bill best for each category.
Raise your hand if you think I settled for one link on any of mine. (If you raised your hand, you don’t know me well enough.)
Here we go…
Most Beautiful
There were a few ways to look at this one. I felt that I had some really beautiful photos of Saint Louis in my The Invasion of St. Louis post.
Saint Louis was gorgeous! And a very fun trip to blog about.
I thought my post about meeting Big Daddy (Four Years!) was well-written, and a beautiful story. And also visually beautiful was Video from 266 Days Ago! This post was the wedding video my mom put together, which I love watching!
Most Popular
Now, ever since I went to self-hosted (I don’t even know if that is the right term) I have no idea how to track site visitors anymore. (If you feel like helping me with that I wouldn’t complain.) However, going by comments, by far the most popular post was when I started Weight Watchers, I bit the bullet. I got 49 comments, my highest count ever.
My second most popular was my Dialect Vlog, surprisingly! It pulled in 35 comments. It was definitely one of my favorite posts.
Most Controversial
I got some interesting comments about the post Wedding Thangss due to my rant about wearing white to weddings. People were pretty split!
Also controversial was my Top Five! post about my five “free passes” aka my celebrity crushes. I can’t help it that I find Howie Mandel attractive.
Most Helpful
I think the post I wish more people would read and observe is my Twitter Tips post. If you are on twitter, read it and memorize it!!!
Another post that people tweet about or reference/recommend every once in a while is kjpugs Recipe: Honey Mustard! It’s an easy way to make honey mustard to your specific taste, or make it if you are out of the store-bought stuff and need some in a pinch.
A Post Whose Success Surprised Me
I had a whopping 29 comments on the post Fall = Stuffing. They were in regards to two things: 1) cinnamon in savory applications and 2) my love of Pepperidge Farm brand stuffing. I didn’t expect more than 6 or 7 comments, so this one was a surprise comment generator.
I also was very surprised by how much everyone loved the drawings I did in Ice Day and Bugg Claw Dream.
It was a weird post.
A Post I Feel Didn’t Get the Attention it Deserved
I could go on all day about this. More often than I’d like, I put together a post that I find super interesting, and it bombs. Oh well. The most notable ones to me are Random Talents (I can draw braces on J.Crew models) and Mi dispiace, Sicilia about my time in Sicily. Neither of them got any comments.
Post I’m Most Proud Of
This was another category that wasn’t hard to pick. I am proud of most of my posts!
Remembering My Dad was a very hard post to write, and I was proud of the care I took in writing it. A Day in the Life of KJ was time-consuming and took 24 hours of dedication- I was proud when that day and post were done. HUGE news was a (very recent) post that made me proud ’cause I fooled so many of you.
And last but not least, Pug Puke… not cute. I was super proud of the picture!
Now, it’s time to tag some of you!
I’m tagging my pals:
- Steph C from Forget Me Not
- Amanda from The Fit-Its
- Anni from A Room with a View
- Colleen from Moments Pass Slow
- Maggie from A Long Far View
If you haven’t done this and you’re not one of the above people, feel free to consider yourself tagged as well!
So, do you agree with any of my links?

Yay!!!!! I love it! :) you did a great job picking these!
I love most of these and I love that you linked to them because now I’m going to go and re-read them.
Bugg claw was hilarious. Seriously.
I loved your dialect vlog! I’m excited to go back and re-read these, and to do my own post tomorrow.

If you want to track your blog stats, you have to set up a google analytics account, and paste some code on your blog. I hardly ever check it, but I do know it’s the best way to look at your number of visitors, searched terms, etc.
And I still love the Bugg claw!!
Thank youuuu for tagging! I think I somehow missed the puppy puke post but I’m totally glad you mentioned it so I could go back and read it ;)
This was perfect! I need to do this…. but seriously, my fav post was def the Wedding Thangs post… you read my mind :)
