Almost Min Time…

I haven’t seen this biatch since my freaking wedding. In March 2010.

(For more awesome vintage pics of me and Min (and hell, even Rosh) check this out. So far at least two of you admitting to also having the purple shirt with the cat asses on it. I’m telling you, we were stylish.)

My sweet sister Min. My less-than-20-months-younger-but-still-more-mature sister. Basically, I can’t wait to see her freaking FACE.

But I’m a little mad at her.

Know why?

I got our Mom a coffee mug for Mother’s Day. Or as she’s calling it, her “puggy muggy.”

Min, on the other hand, got her… a trip to Fiji. To see our sister Rosh. (Who is in Fiji for study abroad.)

Had I known this, I would have thrown in some hot cocoa or coffee. Maybe a biscotti.

So I got SHOWN UP. Badly. Although I’m happy about it since Mommers deserves a trip!

But still… Min will pay. By being forced to hang out with me for hours. At a wine festival. And in bars. And with pugs. Muahahahahaha!

MIN ARRIVES TOMORROW! Batten down the hatches!

  • Your mom probably LOVED the puggy muggy way more than a trip to Fiji because it was a super awesome gift. Have fun with Min! (Make her pay!)

  • I so love the vintage pics. Hilarious.

So the trip to Fiji lasts how many days? But what’s the lifespan of the puggy muggy? Hmmm… I believe you win for longevity here!

  • That pic kinda rocks. I’m sure the wine/beer consumption and following hangover will be sufficient payback. Have fun!! :)

  • Aw poor puggy muggy. Maybe she brought it with her and enjoyed some pina coladas in it?! I would.

  • Don’t knock the mug. We bought R’s dad a Dr. Who TARDIS cookie jar that makes some crazy noise when you open and close it (I’m assuming it’s contextual to the show, but who knows?) and I swear to you, he displays it proudly on the kitchen table and subtly opens it when people are over to show it off.

We bought him an iPod one year, and a little point and shoot another. And he loves the damn cookie jar far more.

I just had a similar convo with a close friend who got her fiance a card for their anniversary…and he got her a trip to the Bahamas. Fail.

  • Ahh sisterly love…seems like something my sis would do! She always tries to hog the mom spotlight and I can see her doing this in the future. But, either way Mom is da bomb and she would deserve it! And, BTW that mug is priceless!
